Certified Shielded Enclosure (CSE) – SCIF
Inherent RF Shielding
All A.R.C. Vaults have continuously welded seams and are manufactured of robust ¼” steel. While “set-back” and Security In-Depth (SID) are key determinants in a TEMPEST assessment, this heavy gauge steel shell (when properly grounded), along with our proprietary manufacturing techniques, provides inherent RF shielding characteristics that enhance the A.R.C. Vault’s emanation security (EMSEC) capabilities.
TEMPEST Standard Shielding
If your mission requires that you protect sensitive information in an RF shielded environment as required by a Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA), then you need to talk to us about the A.R.C. Vault “Certified Shielded Enclosure,” designed to meet very rigorous TEMPEST standards and other Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) concerns. Shielded Enclosures require absolute reliability and performance in construction and design, ensuring critical data is contained within a “Faraday Cage” type of environment. Some considerations include specialty filters, wave guides, panel protections, acoustic wall construction, RF shielding support, protected point of entry penetrations (IT, electrical, communications) and Single Knife Edge doors, to name a few.
Shielded Enclosure A.R.C. Vaults are tested for shielding effectiveness in accordance with NSA No. 94-106, dated October 1994 and “Architectural Shielding for Radio Frequency Enclosures” standards. They are fully certified by an independent testing organization to meet specific frequency and attenuation ranges specified by our customers.
