Patented Design Achieves High-Strength HEMP Protection
Armag engineers and manufactures modular shielded facilities for a wide range of applications. From Critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) operations to power generators, data centers and support systems, our shielded facilities offer complete EMP, HEMP and RF protection. Every shielded facility we make is purpose-built and custom designed to meet the specific objectives of our clients. We offer different structure types to accommodate various uses: Single Unit, Multiplex, ISO Container and Generator Shelter.
Armag’s single unit EMP shielded facilities offer up to 600 sq. ft. of space and are a top choice of military and intelligence agencies for operations or outposts with a small to medium footprint. Single units are typically used for communications shelters, generator enclosures, and even small data centers.
Armag’s patented seam design allows for multiple units to be joined together without loss of structural integrity or shielding protection. This allows for single facilities as large as 5,000 sq. ft. or more. Accelerated life cycle testing has demonstrated the ability of the seams to last over 20 years in corrosive environments. The seams are also fully inspectable, so there’s no guessing as to their condition and ability to provide protection.
For projects requiring a rapidly transportable solution, Armag purpose-engineers HEMP shielded ISO containers which meet stringent CSC certification requirements. HEMP shielded ISO containers are designed to meet MIL-STD-188-125-1A or -2 and are available in 10ft, 20ft, or 40ft lengths. Each unit is fully tested and CSC certified.
Armag’s shielded generator shelters are equipped with everything necessary for safe, efficient operation of the generator. Each shelter is custom-engineered to incorporate appropriate airflow and cooling, while meeting HEMP shielding requirements. Armag’s proprietary bolt-on maintenance access hatch facilitates removal of large equipment when necessary.
