Reduced Arc (ESQD) Magazines
Selected by the US Navy to build a prototype EOD reduced arc magazine, Armag developed the first magazine that can be safely stored near buildings, roadways and other magazines thus eliminating time consuming travel to and from an ammo supply point (ASP).
With the limited arc design, explosives are stored in specially designed containers in the magazine which prevent sympathetic detonation. This limits the maximum credible event to only one round and the magazine is proven to withstand this event, thereby reducing the quantity distance arc. Watch the video to see it in action.
Each limited arc magazine has been approved for use by the DDESB and each magazine can house only the explosives that it is approved for. Contact us for a complete list of authorized explosives for each limited arc magazine.
