Day Boxes

Armag’s day boxes are Type 3 explosives storage magazines designed for the transfer and temporary supervised storage of explosives and detonators. These magazines are designed to be  light enough for daily transport from your overnight storage area to the job site while keeping the contents safe and secure.

We offer three types of day boxes:

• Steel & Aluminum Day Boxes – Standard sizes available in heavy gauge steel or in aluminum at one-third the weight.
• IME / DOT Boxes – Heavier construction to meet all IME and DOT specs for transporting on public highways.
• Combo Truck Boxes – A day box and IME cap box all in one, allowing explosives and detonators to be transported on public highways in the same vehicle.

ATF Compliance

Armag’s decades of experience and unmatched explosives storage expertise goes into every product we make. That’s why we certify ATF compliance on all of our day boxes (Construction variances are required for some models and can be obtained from your local ATF office).

Don’t risk being cited by the ATF for compliance issues. Day boxes that don’t meet ATF compliance are not only unsafe and insecure, but will also cause additional hassles and expenses.
