Specialized Design for Air Transport

Air transport magazines are built to the same NSWC 3046-93-1 specification as portable magazines but with added features to facilitate easy air transport including interior tie-downs, forklift pockets, an integrated Type 2 magazine and more.

Regulations

Air transport magazines constructed to NSWC 3046-93-1 are approved for storage of A&E in accordance with the following regulations:

  • DoD 5100.76M
  • AR 190-11
  • OPNAVINST 5530.13C
  • MCO 5530.14A

Additionally, these magazines meet or exceed:

  • UL 752 Level 5
  • UL 752 Level 8 (with modifications)

Features

  • Measures 102″ x 88″ x 93″ (LWH) and fits on the 463L pallet
  • Rear mounted Type 2 magazine for separation of non-compatible ordnance
  • Forklift pockets for increased portability and ease of handling
  • Interior tie down tracks to secure cargo in-transit
  • Aluminum non-sparking shelving
