Purchases for Military & Government Agencies
DoD activities and Government Agencies are required to purchase Military Magazines and Armories through the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Indian Head, Maryland (NSWC IHD). As directed by the Department of Defense, NSWC IHD serves as the sole provider of engineered storage solutions for AA&E on behalf of the joint services. Armag is under federal contract to provide manufacturing services under a 5-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. This contract was competitively bid and awarded to Armag in September 2022. Since it was competitively bid, your contracting personnel do not need to competitively bid your purchase from Armag. This fixed price contract saves you weeks of contracting time preparing RFQ’s, reviewing proposals, and awarding contracts.
How do I get started?
Military Purchases:

Government Agencies:
Contact Armag to get instructions on where to send your Inter-agency Agreement (IAA).
Expert Oversight and Certification
When you purchase an Armag Magazine or Armory, we put you in contact with government-employed physical security experts who you can consult with regarding your unique application. They oversee the manufacture of your order at our facility, which enables them to issue the required construction certification documents (DA Form 4604 or 4044-FORM-25) per DoDI 5100.76M.
