Relocatable Weapons Cleaning Station
{/webgallery}A military unit was being relocated to a new installation as required by BRAC. They needed a weapons cleaning station on their training range but did not want to purchase the station and then shortly leave it behind. They contacted Armag Corporation and we manufactured a portable weapons cleaning station and delivered it to them within just a few weeks. They are using the facility and will take it with them when they are relocated.
Elevated Arms Room
{/webgallery}A military base located in a very harsh winter environment needed an arms vault very quickly. They had a short window of opportunity and wanted a portable unit. However, they needed something that could be elevated above several feet of snow. Armag personnel recommended they construct a concrete and steel stand to support a duplex armory. We constructed an external stairway and then customized the armory by adding several inches of additional insulation and additional heat. Armag personnel traveled to the site and set the unit in place.
Good Fences make Good Neighbors
{/webgallery}An installation was given short notice that they would be charged with training large numbers of reservists. Several training units would store their weapons in the armory and the weapons needed to be kept segregated. There was not adequate time to construct additional weapons storage vaults. They contacted Armag Corporation and we manufactured several duplex arms vaults with expanded aluminum interior walls and doors. The duplexes were delivered in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of conventional construction.
Short Term Solution
An installation needed secure weapons storage facilities while their permanent structures were being built. They recognized our portable armories as a quick, cost effective solution and were able to later use these assets elsewhere.

{/webgallery}A tactical maintenance facility installed a portable armory outside their maintenance facilities in order to secure detached 249’s and M2’s while the tactical vehicles were under repair.
Additional Storage Saves Time
While training was being conducted at one of the larger military bases a significant amount of time was lost each day transporting weapons to and from the training facility and weapons storage facility. The addition of the portable weapons vault facilitated the training schedule while still meeting the requirements of secure storage.
Isolated Ground Enhances Safety
{/webgallery}A Guard unit needed a maintenance and engineering building in which they would assemble ordnance. They contacted Armag to discuss their needs and we recommended they use our aluminum workbenches to eliminate the chance for sparking. We also installed an isolated ground system with a copper buss bar inside the magazine to help dissipate static electricity.
Munitions Storage and Inspection Facility
{/webgallery}A Guard unit needed a new facility for munitions storage and inspection. Due to the location of the facility they also needed office space in or near the building. We manufactured a duplex munitions storage magazine with three separate compartments separated by expanded aluminum walls. Each compartment included a set of external steel double doors and explosion resistant lights.
We manufactured a second duplex unit that included a steel and hardwood internal wall, behind which was an office with a restroom and independent HVAC system. The other compartment was developed as a munitions inspection room which we outfitted with an eyewash station, aluminum workbenches and explosion resistant lights.
