Selected by the US Navy to build a prototype reduced arc magazine, Armag developed the first Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Magazine that can be safely stored near buildings, roadways and other magazines thus eliminating time consuming travel to and from an ammo supply point (ASP).

This limited arc magazine was developed for EOD teams and has a zero arc. Explosives are stored in pumice filled boxes (see TB6042) which are stored in the magazine.

Limited Arc 7″ × 7″ × 7″ Two Magazine kit
This two magazine set is used for ready access by explosives ordnance disposal (EOD) teams. Each magazine is authorized to store 128 lbs net explosive weight while the maximum credible event is limited to 1.25 lbs of 1.1 equivalent. With a 10’ quantity distance arc these magazines can be safely stored near buildings, roadways and other magazines. Armag Corporation was selected by the US Navy to build these prototype reduced arc magazines.
